As we wind down the end of the 2018-2019 school year we have lots of happenings going on!
Individual classrooms have events, grade levels are going on field trips and the whole school is also marking the end of the year together in school-wide events. Please make sure to look at the June calendar to keep up to date. The June calendar came home in backpacks and is available on the BCHMCPS website.

This week we have Field Day on Friday. It promises to be a beautiful day both weather-wise and fun-wise. The schedule for Field Day is:
  • Grades 2 & 3- 9:30-11:15
  • Grades  K & 1-1:30-3:00
Parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
During Field Day we will also be hosting the June Principal Coffee which will include a "Come and Go" event. "Come and Go' will be led by our Math and Reading team with an opportunity to learn about local educational events during the summer, summer math and reading activities to support your child during these summer months and a fun raffle for each grade level that will include prizes.

While at Field Day we will have the Lost and Found items outside on the blacktop by the Kindergarten playground side of the school. We have MANY Lost and Found items. Please visit this area and take any items that belong to your child that have found their way to the Lost and Found! Any items not claimed by June 17th will be donated.

Tomorrow, Thursday June 6th at 2:00 we will hold the Grade 3 Awards.

Next week is the last full week of school for the 2018-2019 school year.
  • The All School Community Meeting will be held on Wednesday June 12th from 9:30-10:30. We hope to see many of you there.
  • June 14th Flag Day ceremony at 9:30 in front of the school by the flagpole.
  • June 17th- Last day of school- 12 dismissal, NO afterschool daycare.
